Terrible customer service

I was treated extremely rude and not helped just because I was in the drive thru. I had medication sent over an hour ahead of time and was still over 45 minute wait. This is the only location this has happened.

We have been shopping at Schnucks for over 30 years. Very disappointed with how the deli has changed. Not only that the prises have gotten out of control. We live in Waterloo Il and we have decided to go to South County Mo. TO Diebergs to get fresh potatoe s8alad , cole slaw and the rest of our groceries. Sorry your improvements are not for the customers.

Rude, condescending Pharmacist staff

I went to pick up my Prescription from the Grandview store on October 5, 2019 at 2:50pm CST. Pharmacy Staff told me that my prescription wasn’t ready. I told him I have a message that my prescription was ready and he said I DOUBT IF YOUR MESSAGE SAID THAT. I asked him if he could have said it better than that since I am a customer of the store and Pharmacy. His response I STILL DONT THINK THE MESSAGE SAID THAT. The Pharmacist joined in and said he could tell me what the message I heard meant as if I didn’t understand YOUR PRESCRIPTION IS READY FOR PICKUP. I will NEVER set foot into ANY Schnucks stores ever again. I have too many options to shop and be respected at the same time as the two are not mutually exclusive.

We purchased 2lbs of Chicken from Schnucks Lake St. Louis, 101 Civic Center Drive on Saturday 7/20/19. It was delivered by Instacart and placed in our refrigerator. My wife went to slice it today (Monday 7/22/19) and found a gorged worm in the raw chicken. She immediately called Schnucks and asked to speak to the manager. The manager seemed unconcerned and uninterested and just told my wife to "bring it back in and we'll give you a refund". She took a picture of it, which I have attached. That is not why we called! We are concerned about other chicken on site or possibly on sale at this Schnucks or that has already been sold that may be tainted. I will be contacting Schnucks Corporate Offices tomorrow, but I did want to make this information public. Thanks

Schnucks has gone downhill

What a great chain this was when Don and Ed Schnuck were alive and running things. Typically the sons who took it over are ruining it. Prices have sky high and it seems the entire focus is on squeezing every penny of profit even at the customers expense. More and more Schnucks private label goods show up with the branded prices increased to drive customers to the more profitable but less quality Schnucks private label goods. Schnucks cheese is almost inedible. Their ice cream at $3.00 sits next to branded ice cream who's price has increased from regular $4.99 to $6.99. Employees are very unhappy. One employee told me she is retiring in 2 weeks not because she has to but because she can't stand to work with management and all the rules they impose. No longer the friendliest store in town. By the way, produce is less expensive and better quality at Whole Foods. For example, yellow onions are .79 at whole foods....1.99 at Schnucks. Long time Schnucks customer who shops at Whole Foods and Dierbergs now. Hope the rumor that the Schnucks boys are trying to sell out is true...only way I will return.

They just don't care anymore

I could write a very long list of the issues I've had recently. Unfortunately, it really wouldn't be worth my time to write it, nor your time to read it, because Schnucks won't do anything about it. I've pointed out rotting produce to produce managers, moldy restrooms to the service counter, pricing issues to the store manager, and issues with the Schuncks Rewards program to the customer service hotline. My take away from all of these interactions has been that Schnucks no longer cares. No action is ever taken, no apologies ever made--and good luck ever getting a call back when you leave a message with the customer service hotline. They are not the friendly, local, family market they used to be. Add to this their recent labor relations issues, skyrocketing prices following the Shop 'n Save buyout, unclean and unkept stores, and an overall sour attitude from store employees. I have to wonder why people keep going back for more. Dierbergs has always had the upper hand in customer service and quality. But now they are starting to get the upper hand on price as well. I see no reason that I shouldn't continue going to Dierbergs from now on, and tell Schnucks to shove off.

"Nobody Home" at corporate headquarters

I used the "Contact Us" screen on Schnucks' website (did so three times in six weeks), but have never received a response. It's obvious that nobody in the corporate office even looks at inbound messages. I love my local Schnuck's store (Hilltown Village), but the folks at corporate headquarters are "asleep at the switch"

Hotel Reservation required to checkout at schnucks hampton village

Today, 11-01-2019, at 10am it was a 27 minute wait in line to checkout, clients were walking out the door and leaving food in carts at Schnucks Hampton Village store. When I spoke to the store manager he (MATT) informed me at that time he had called for, one additional cashier, sorry Schnucks to little to late for your so called valued clients. Centene center snack counter

Stop price gouging at your little store inside centene center! $4.50 for coffee, 3.50 for a 16 ounce soda, $2.50 for water, $6 for bud light.....need i go on? Absolutely rediculous prices pn everything.

pharmacy prescription was a called in on 8-22 kept calling to check and see if it was ready they kept telling me it was not called in so after a few days i called back my doctors office to see why day later my doctor said it was called in so i called pharmacy back they again said it was not there so this went on till 8-29 when i went there they said they were having problems with there phone service call center so there phone service call center was telling me nothing was called in this went on for 7 days now its happening again been 3 days and now going somewhere else allowing a call center to have my private information should be a hippa violation is it
